Hollywood funny man Owen Wilson has taken on the serious role of being a first-time dad at the age of 42.
The Little Fockers star’s, U.S. Air Marshal girlfriend, Jade Duell, gave birth to his son, Ford Lynton Wilson on Friday, after 18 hours of anesthesia-free labor.
What has turned out to be a Tinseltown scoop, news that the actor was going to become a father was kept under wraps until the story broke less than a week ago.
The baby boy reportedly weighed 6lbs, 13oz., and was delivered by water birth at Owen's oceanfront estate in Maui, Hawaii with the help of a midwife.
Owen and Jade, 28, met on a flight from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. and have been dating for over a year.
'Owen has been doing a celebratory hula dance all afternoon! It's a beautiful boy and everyone is incredibly happy!' an inside source told Star magazine.
Wilson’s big news came on the heels of a passel of celebrity pregnancies were being announced in the past few weeks, including: Natalie Portman, Alicia Silverstone, Victoria Beckham, Jane Krakowski, Selma Blair, Pink, Christina Applegate, Tia Mowry, Amanda Holden, Devon Aoki, Rachel Zoe, Jewel, and Marion Cotillard.
