Disney sells Miramax for $600 million
Pending regulatory approvals Disney has agreed to sell their Miramax division to Filmyard Holdings, a group that includes: Ronald Tutor, chief executive of the Tutor Perini Corporation, Tom Barrack, the chief executive of Colony Capital and other individuals for an estimated $600 million dollars. The bidding which lasted for six months, is expected to close sometime before the end of the year.
